His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to Visit InspireHealth, Canada’s Foremost Integrated Cancer Care Centre

November 4, 2009 - InspireHealth is pleased to announce that HRH The Prince of Wales will visit the integrated cancer care centre at InspireHealth to discuss some of the important frontiers of health and healing. He will meet with the medical staff and a small group of cancer patients on Saturday, November 7th.
The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health promotes the bridging together of healthy lifestyle choices (good food, work, access to nature, exercise) with orthodox and integrative approaches to create an environment that promotes well-being.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss with Prince Charles the future of integrative health and the importance of integrating the values of healing into our health care system. This represents a milestone for InspireHealth and for the recognition of integrative cancer care in Canada.InspireHealth was founded to help shape the future of health care for Canada towards a model of patient empowerment and engagement in health. With the growing body of medical evidence supporting integrative and preventative approaches to health, we are confident that integrated care is part of the solution to the looming health care financial crisis.
