At the philosophical heart of InspireHealth's programs is the recognition that personal autonomy, personal choice and self-care play an essential role in the healing process. Personal empowerment and choice are encouraged, supported and honoured at InspireHealth. After attending the LIFE Program and reading InspireHealth's Integrative Cancer Care Guide, the participant should have the necessary initial information, support and knowledge to begin to create their own integrated cancer care program.

INTEGRATED CANCER CARE PROGRAMS

InspireHealth Options

1. Group "Fireside Chat" with a Medical Doctor
   At InspireHealth, every Monday from 3 to 4pm, with a medical doctor. An opportunity for anyone to learn more about InspireHealth and to ask questions about our programs, classes, and philosophy, etc. No appointment needed.
2. LIFE Program ($445)
   A 2 day program — both informative, healing and experiential — exploring the Foundations of Health and how they can benefit individuals living with Cancer. With this information the patient begins to develop a Life Enhancing Health Plan.
3. Extended Medical Doctor Consultation
   One and a half hour consultation to review history and provide recommendations regarding integrative health and natural therapies into an individual treatment plan. This consultation includes a review of diet, exercise, emotional and spiritual health, supplements and natural therapies and provides guidance for the safe integration with conventional treatment.
4. Core Health Classes
   Designed to support Health and Healthful lifestyle changes.
   • Healthful nutrition and cooking class
   • Meditation
   • Yoga
   • Shared Learning Groups
   • Relaxation with Music and Imagery
5. Follow up Physician Consultations
   To provide ongoing integrative medical guidance for patients' cancer journey. Includes telephone appointments for people from out of town.
6. LIFE Enhancing Advanced Program (L.E.A.P) (Free for members)

7. Associate Practitioners (Fee-for-Service)
   Consultations are available from a Naturopathic Doctor, Acupuncturist, Massage Practitioner, and Registered Nutritionist, all of whom share an integrative philosophy.

   Access to InspireHealth's Research Information System, Research Updates, and an extensive library of resource books and articles.
