DESCRIPTION:BRCA-related surgeries\, such as prophylactic mastectomies and oophorectomies\, are significant procedures that require careful preparation and thoughtful recovery. In this session\, Janet Sprague\, a highly experienced Physiotherapist and Lymphedema Therapist from Go! Physiotherapy\, will guide attendees through the essential steps for preparing for and recovering from these surgeries. \nThis session will focus on the physical aspects of surgery preparation and recovery\, including exercises\, techniques\, and therapies that can help optimize outcomes and reduce complications. Janet will also address the emotional and mental preparation needed to approach surgery with confidence and resilience.
