Homemade Electrolyte Drink

This simple homemade electrolyte drink with orange, lime, salt, and turmeric is refreshing and replenishing—perfect after activity or anytime you need a boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup not-from-concentrate orange juice
  • a squeeze of lime approx. 1/6 lime
  • 1/16 tsp salt
  • a pinch of turmeric.

Notes

This drink has 140mg of sodium, 130mg of potassium plus 7mg each calcium and magnesium. If you feel you need a lot of extra potassium, you could sub the water for coconut water, which will add 400mg of potassium.
