2025 Outstanding Impact Award

Inspire Health Event Calendar September 26, 2025

We are proud to honour Leslie Brochu and Heidi Coleman as the recipients of this year’s Outstanding Impact Award.

Leslie Brochu has had a longstanding career in the Real Estate sector but her biggest impact on the community has been through her commitment to volunteerism. She has been the founder, director and President of numerous organizations and is co-founder of the Kamloops Cancer Supportive Care Society (KCSCS). Leslie’s son’s experience with late-stage Melanoma was her driving force for starting KCSCS and as President she has led advocacy and collaboration efforts to bring more supportive cancer care to Kamloops.

Heidi Coleman has been a healthcare fundraiser for over 25 years and has been CEO of the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation since 2012 where she has been a huge champion for improving healthcare services for Kamloops and its surrounding areas. She was instrumental in establishing the rapid access Rae Fawcett Breast Health Clinic and has championed stakeholders across the community and province to work together for more supportive cancer for patients and their loved ones.

For the past several years, Leslie and Heidi have worked together to bridge the gap in supportive cancer care. Their leadership has transformed these services for Kamloops and the surrounding area. Together, Leslie and Heidi have been tireless advocates for expanding access to InspireHealth’s services, ensuring that people living with cancer, as well as their loved ones, receive the care they need close to home through a new InspireHealth Centre.

Congratulations, Leslie and Heidi!
