Paul’s InspireHealth Story

Cancer has been a part of my life for decades. At the end of 1999, my wife, Suzanne, was diagnosed with breast cancer and in 2008, I faced my own diagnosis, first with colon cancer, then prostate cancer.

A friend from the Prostate Centre suggested I check out InspireHealth. The first time I went, it was a pretty thorough day of learning about all the ways InspireHealth can support people with cancer, everything from exercise, meditation, and yoga to cooking classes.

InspireHealth has been a real help to me. After losing Suzanne and living on my own, I was able to come into my downstairs den, open my iPad, and connect with their programs almost every day of the week. It made a big difference in how I felt and helped me through my cancer.

My advice to anyone diagnosed with cancer is to talk to InspireHealth. For me, it has been a great support for my well-being. The whole goal of InspireHealth is to help people get through cancer, and it’s a great organization. The more people know about it, the better.

Paul has been part of InspireHealth for many years in many ways—patient, supporter, and ambassador. Watch this past video to hear his story.
