We are happy to announce the return of the “Earth Guardians Reimagined” exhibition to the Kelowna the Rotary Centre for The Arts. “Earth Guardians Reimagined” breathes life into one-of-a-kind masterpieces by the talented artist Tracy Thring, capturing the essence of animals worldwide through her acrylic on canvas creations.
Tracy Thring, a visionary artist with an extraordinary imagination, sadly passed away in May 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer. The revival of “Earth Guardians Reimagined” is a heartfelt tribute spearheaded by her eldest daughter and carefully curated by her family to celebrate Tracy’s life, talent, and profound passion for the arts.
A luminary in the arts community, Tracy explored various artistic realms – from glass etching and resin to watercolor and acrylic. She shared her knowledge generously, guiding students of all ages in mastering new techniques. Tracy’s creativity knew no bounds, extending to screenplays and children’s books, and even envisioning a theme park in the Okanagan during the ’90s.
Tracy Thring’s legacy lives on through her timeless artwork, and the greatest honor to her memory lies in having her creations grace the walls of those who appreciate her boundless vision and craftsmanship.
