BRCA Support BC: Sexual health and BRCA
February 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Sexual health is an essential aspect of overall well-being, but for individuals with a BRCA mutation, it can come with unique challenges and concerns. In this session, Dr. Melanie Altas, a respected Gynaecologist and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia, will explore the impact of BRCA mutations on sexual health and provide guidance on how to manage these challenges.
This session will cover a range of topics related to sexual health, focusing on the effects of BRCA-related surgeries, hormone changes, and the psychological aspects of living with a hereditary cancer risk. Dr. Altas will also discuss strategies to maintain a healthy and fulfilling sexual life, despite the challenges that may arise.
Registration closes at 3:00 pm PT the business day prior to the class date.
