BRCA in BC Support Group: Living with Risk and Coping with Uncertainty

Psychologist Karen Hurley, PhD, partners with patients to help them understand what they need to live as well and as fully as possible given what life has put in front of them. She specializes in health psychology with a focus on hereditary cancer risk. This talk will look at how people at elevated risk of hereditary cancers cope with ongoing uncertainty and anxiety that comes with the knowledge of their increased cancer risk.
