Inspired Conversations: An introduction to Self-Compassion (Part 1)

Most of us are too hard on ourselves. In this two-part workshop, we will explore self-compassion: the practice of treating ourselves as we would a good friend. Together we will learn about the foundations of self-compassion, and how it can help us navigate the difficulties of our lives with more kindness and less judgment. Research on self-compassion has shown that it can increase happiness and improve relationships, while decreasing anxiety, depression and shame. Join us to learn fresh perspectives and practical ways to stop being so hard on ourselves. This workshop is a two-part series, and we invite participants to try and attend both.

* Please have on hand paper and pens, pencil crayons and felt pens may be helpful but not necessary.

** Designed for those diagnosed with cancer and supporters too.

*** We recommend you participate in this class in a private/quiet room and/or use headphones, when possible, to keep the conversation for your ears only.
