Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh cranberries
  • 1 Orange juiced & zested
  • 3 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup Maple syrup

Instructions

  • Place a sauce pan on medium heat. Add the cranberries and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the cranberries begin to burst. Stir often. Add the orange juice and zest and maple syrup and bring to a boil, keep stirring. 
  • Reduce the heat to medium low and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in the chia seeds. Let the sauce come to room temperature before serving.
