Anthony Salituro

Anthony Salituro has owned and operated a successful men’s and ladies clothing store in Kamloops for over 20 years—an iconic Kamloops business that first opened its doors in 1944. Guiding this legacy brand through decades of change has been a fulfilling journey, one that has allowed him to be creative and love going to work each day.

His commitment to giving back began in 1998 when he founded the Pink Ribbon Charity Ball in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. What started as a small gathering of 145 guests grew into Kamloops’ premier fundraising gala. After a brief retirement from event planning, he returned to philanthropy with a bold goal: to raise $1 million to improve cancer care in the Kamloops region – and that milestone was met. In 2024, after thoughtful consideration, the decision was made to donate the full amount to InspireHealth with the intention of helping bring its services to Kamloops.

Born and raised in Kamloops, British Columbia, he lives there with his husband and their two young children. He has strong ties to the local Italian community and cherishes many of the traditions passed down from his parents, who both immigrated from Italy to Canada. Family, food, and culture play a central role in his life and continue to shape how he shows up in his community.

Anthony is excited to be part of this next chapter and to contribute meaningfully to the work of the InspireHealth Board.
