Dr. Hannah Nette – MD
Director of Clinical Services, Supportive Care Physician
Dr. Hannah Nette has had a lifelong interest in health and well-being. Hannah’s first post secondary adventure was at McGill University where she focused her BSc in Psychology, with a thesis on the patient experience psychologically of undergoing invasive medical testing. She then attended medical school and family medicine residency at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. A move to BC connected Hannah with the opportunity to join a family medicine group practice in Vancouver providing full spectrum medicine from delivering babies to supporting end of life care. Through this experience, she witnessed the life-changing impact that supportive care can have on physical and emotional health. Hannah was delighted to join the InspireHealth Supportive Cancer Care team in 2013 as a physician and then into the Director of Clinical Services role a few years later. Over the past decade, she has pursued additional training in supportive cancer care, particularly in the areas of mental health, palliative care, mindfulness, and cultural sensitivity in health care. When Hannah is not passionately engaged in her work as one of the leaders and physicians at InspireHealth, you can find her searching for hiking trials and scenic picnic spots with her family.
