Jaynie Miller
Clinical Counsellor
With a diverse background in teaching, art therapy, and yoga, Jaynie has provided support in community and health care settings, working with diverse populations of children, youth, and adults. Prior to joining InspireHealth she specialized in providing counselling support for older adults experiencing challenges related to life transitions, grief and loss, trauma and/or health issues.
Jaynie’s approach to counselling is collaborative, strengths-based , and grounded in a mind body orientation and belief in the human capacity for growth and resilience. Her practice draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Expressive Arts, Somatic Interventions, Mindfulness practise, CBT and Attachment Based Therapy.
Jaynie is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a BA from The University of Toronto, an Advanced Diploma in Art Therapy from The Vancouver Institute of Art Therapy, an MA in Education from Simon Fraser University and an MA in Counselling from City University of Seattle.
In her spare time Jaynie loves exploring the mountains on foot or skis, kayaking, creating art and gardening.
