Michelle Martin
Special Projects & Executive Assistant
Michelle comes to InspireHealth with a wealth of knowledge working in many different non-profit environments as a project coordinator, operations manager and executive assistant. She worked as the Club Coordinator for Vancouver Athletic Football club for many years, a position she enjoyed greatly.
She was also the Operations Manager for a program called Empowered Student Partnerships at Canadian Safe School Network in Toronto. In this rewarding position, she engaged with many different community partners as well as the Toronto Police Service to execute a student-led school safety program.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from York University. In her work as an actor and playwright, she took time last year to write a play about her mother, Cecile, who died of breast cancer when she was 36, called i carry your heart with me. Michelle toured the show to Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and her hometown of Barrhead, Alberta. She was deeply honored to share her passion project with audiences across Canada.
Michelle is grateful to have found herself at InspireHealth as she is passionate about doing fulfilling work in an environment that enhances the quality of life for people living with cancer and their families.
