Alessandra DiMattia
Registered Dietitian
Alessandra completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Western Ontario, followed by the Comprehensive Dietetic Internship Program at the University Health Network hospitals in Toronto.
Alessandra began her career as a dietitian engaging with older adults and food insecure individuals in a community health centre in Ontario. From an early age, Alessandra was taught home cooking skills and loves to share them with others to make nutrition practical and accessible. She believes in the power of taking small manageable steps to enhance our nourishment and health. Alessandra has a special interest in the practice of Intuitive Eating and building a positive relationship with food. Alessandra is delighted to bring her passion and experience, as well as her supportive nutrition approach, to InspireHealth.
When she’s not playing around in the kitchen, you’ll find her on a paddleboard or mountain bike enjoying the beautiful Okanagan valley.
